I think you're confusing "small run" with "minuscule run" here. The kind of
numbers that experience has suggested could be generated by a division such as
this wouldn't cover the cost of the coffee urns for a record company sub-label.
There's no more avid cheerleader for 3D than I, but if I were an executive at
Tyco, I wouldn't have to think a nanosecond to see that there was nothing for me
in "mature" V-M reels. What's needed, as I've said before, is a small (read
low-overhead) third-party company run by real 3D nut-cases with a lot of play
money, who won't end up in a homeless encampment if they lose it all. How much
do you stand to inherit from your ailing uncle, Jamie?
