RE: Dave following the thread about twin cameras/lenses telephoto that
came out of race car photo discussion, is now wondering how to do stereo
of big game which with normal lens are dots at near infinity.
The solution is easier in concept, than you might expect. In the good
old Realist heyday when everyone had dumped their Leica etc. to buy one,
people did EVERYTHING in their rapture with this new found mode. One
thing was to shoot through binoculars. Set the camera lens wide open.
Adjust binocs to "eye spacing' of Realist (hopefully can do) and with
some kind of tripod mount for both shoot as if f/16, which is about what
the combination is. BobH
