Ed Jamison, whose macro underwater work was exhibited in Rochester (and at our 
Stereo New England meetings), accomplishes this with the use of a custom made 
beamsplitter. The results are stunning. You may want to get hold of him and pick 
his brain.

Actually, you two guys should try to meet. Like you, Ed is a very talented 
machinist and fabricator and has constructed some very innovative and effective 
stereo cameras and rigs. I think he subscribes to photo 3D...
