APS Market Share

        My processor, who handles normal snapshots stuff, local professional
processing and printing and is rapidly becoming expert in printing my
Realist rolls is not excited about the APS format.  It is projected to have
only about a 5% market share by 2000AD and he would need to invest another
$50,000 just to tool up for it.  Also, some of the cameras he has seen so
far have been optically troublesome.  Maybe APS will catch on eventually,
but it won't be easy to go to your local processor around the corner and
establish a working relationship with him to handle your stereo processing.
Too bad, for a pair of smaller 35mm cameras would be most attractive for 3D
rigs.
