Hi Bill,
help is on it's way!
Mostly, the frame counter knob is very sticky. In order to remove it,
one has to hold the metal axle on which the knob is screwed on. I used
two very strong and thin metal blades (steel), which slide UNDER the
knob. If one blade is put on one side and the other one on the other
side, one can press them firmly together to get some grip on the axle.
Blades of paper-cutters work fine. The sharp part of the knifes faces
to the OUTSIDE in order to get a somewhat larger area in contact with
the axle. No need to say that one needs some protection on the hands
when handling these knives with the (extremely sharp) cutting part
to the outside ...
