The "club" has different functions... A slide competition is not the 
proper time to provide mutual assistance, help and instruction.  There 
are other occasions for that.  Besides, I believe that a member learns 
more by seeing their slide projected as mounted than "adjusted for best 
projectability".  Also, adjusting the projector for the improperly-
mounted slide will screw up the properly-mounted slide that follows.
Initial impact, which counts the most, is lost by projector fiddling.
