The Stitz stereo adapter (aka, mirror-thingie) can be adjusted for a
range of focal lengths, from slightly wide-angle (I don't remember the
low-end limit) to telephoto (300mm, I believe). I don't know how it
accomplishes this, but it seems to work at the 35mm end of my 35-105
zoom. Overall, it seems to be very high quality, although I'd
recommend using it on fixed-length lenses instead of zooms ... too
much to adjust otherwise. I don't know how much they sold for when
new, but it ain't cheap.

Some folks have mentioned a mirror-thingie for use on disposable
cameras, but that was only sold in Japan, and may not even be
available anymore.

Reel 3D sells the Franka splitter, which is cheap ($50), although it
uses rear-surface mirrors, etc.
