welp pardon me if I misunderstand, but I think by dollhouse you're 
refering to stereograms looking like little dolls, instead of real 
lifelike things.

 I teach computer animtion, and an interesting thing with computer 
animation is if you take a 50mm lens on a 35mm camera your scene appears 
IDENTICAL if you double it's size, but also double it's distance from the 
camera!  In stereo pairs created on the comptuer the only difference is 
the paralax!
