PePax now at web site

A file called pepax.gif has joined orthomag.gif and orthosep.gif at 
the bobcat web site.  These files show the geometry of reconstructed 
stereo space under various non-ortho conditions.  pepax.gif combines 
the effects shown in orthomag.gif and orthosep.gif to show the sort 
of distortion PePax creates with double the focal length and double 
the stereobase.

Do keep in mind that this is what the reconstructed space looks like 
before your brain has had a go at it.  Your brain is able to correct 
many distortions based on numerous other clues and on prior 
knowledge.
