Yup.  8-)

Sure.  I don't see any cardboarding in them but I also don't know
the forms of the objects (cells) in the images so I wouldn't know
if they were cardboarded or not.  So I'll have to defer answering
this question until I look critically at a scene I'm more familiar
with.
