<< You were telling another lister that you made 3-d prints with two kodak
disposables. How did you do this? And how do you view them afterwards?
Any info would be helpful. -Cliff Davis >>

It's surprisingly easy:
1) On a flat surface, align the 2 cameras pointing in the same direction,
with the two lenses level. Hold the cameras together tightly while taping.
2) Using several pieces of tape, fasten them together along the top, bottom,
etc. so they are firmly attached. You want them to be rigid.
3. You'll have to be able to snap the two cameras simultaneously. I trained
myself at the piano, using middle fingers of each hand to press 2 notes so
they played PRECISELY at the same time. Then I used this technique on the
cameras. I pressed the shutter release buttons in the same way, trying to
make them both "click" at the exact same time. It wasn't as hard as it
sounds.
4) Mount the pictures as you would normally. If you get prints 3 1/2 x 5
you won't need as much cropping as with 4x6 but it all depends on the image
size you want.

BTW, if you're thinking of turning the cameras sideways (vertically), you'll
have to take off the tape and arrange them bottom-to-bottom for those type
shots.

This "rig" gives you pairs that are only slightly hyper-stereo. If you want,
you can fasten them to a yard stick at various distances to get some
hyper-stereo shots that make interesting experimentation. Just remember that
your taking cameras have only fair picture quality. For better pictures,
you'll need a real stereo camera, twin camera rig, or a stereo attachment
("beamsplitter") for your SLR.

Happy hunting!
