Beginner in stereoscopic photography

Hi all,

I'm a student fascinated by everything related to stereoscopy. But all
stereoscopic photography I did til now was limited to taking two photos
with a normal camera. Yet I don't have a good 2D equipment either.
I would like to enter 3D photography now.

What recommendations can you give me? What about 3D adapters? Using them
you always get 3D pictures half as large as the usual format? Would you
recommend lenticular cameras? Is it possible to take diapositives with
them also? Are there already digital stereo cameras on the market that
can be connected to the PC (I'm using shutter glasses for it)? What stereo
video cameras are available on the market?

Thank you for your answers.

Jochen
