Tales of 3-D

Thanks Jon...I have submitted one of the pictures that I took at the Cramps
concert in 3-d expo 2. Keep an eye out for it when its in your neck of the
woods. I often get asked " is that a stereo camera?" I recently was talking
to a guy who made his own phonograph out of an old edison phonograph and
spare parts, which he drags around on an old red wagon to Washington Square
park here in New York City. He asked me about the camera and making stereo
cards. It turns out that this guy works on Ellis Island and wants to make a
display about the items that immigrants brought with them to this country.
He said he was inspired by the IMAX " across the sea of time" and was
thinking about having modern images made as well as repros of antique
views. You never know where that ol' stereo thing is going to crop
up...Mike
