Freeviewing - Parallel vs. Cross-eyed

>Peter Davis>I've been able to freeview parallel for a few
years, but I've never mastered cross-eyed viewing. I think
I've succeeded once or twice, but usually I can't seem to
get it to click. Any suggestions are welcome.

Strange - I've always found it much easier to view
cross-eyed rather than parallel. Perhaps too much time
spent crossing my eyes on the elementary school playground
;-) .

As a regular exercise I try to view repeating patterns
(bathroom tiles etc.) using both methods - I must admit
however that cross-eyed is automatic but parallel takes
work.
