RE: Cliff chose the Loreo as an example of a beam splitter vs Realist
thinking he was comparing single lens and mirrors to two lens camera.
By chance he picked about the only camera with mirror reflectors that
has TWO lenses also. The Mirrors in the Loreo serve to widen the base of
the close spaced lenses AND to provide the image manipulation so
transposing is not needed in viewing.
Forgetting lens quality, fixed focus, etc. the Loreo is really a fine
system for making ready-to-view prints from the photo-finisher. And the
pairs if remounted for a better viewer might surprise one as to quality?

(The Loreo is in effect more like the Leica Stereomar lens pair with
prism attachent to make a wider base.)
