However, you can use food to create art as I have with my "vegetable
flowers" that I've created for various pot luck dinners & such. One such
creation of green onions, leaf lettuce and a gourd looked so much like a
dried flower arrangement that nobody realized it was vegetables until they
got up close and really examined it.
Then there's the art of pumpkin carving. The recent discovery of a
"pumpkin carving kit" consisting of various sized saw blades and patterns
have honed my carving skills to a new height not before possible with a
mere steak knife :-)
And, this year I'll even try capturing my creation on film (two photos
slightly offset horizontally :-) ) to practice another "art" I've become
fond of in recent years :-)

P.S. You should also see some of the creations of master chefs in the area
of cream puff animals (swans usually) and other "garnishes" and
decorations that adorn sunday brunch buffets at fancy restaurants & hotels.
