Projectors?

        After reading Dr.T's comments about judging and projection I have
decided to take the plunge and look for a projector.

        Now, I am pretty knowledgable about stereo cameras, but I'm afraid
I have very little experience in projectors (except VM ones).  Perhaps I
can get people's impressions of the different popular models, what to keep
an eye out for when buying one, and the ballpark prices.  I'll be attending
a used camera show this weekend and would like to be well armed incase I
come across something.
