Globalscope and Gaumont Camera

Hello group. As winter approaches here in the Northland, and I begin to
return to the indoor hobbies, I have some questions which I would guess
the members of this group may be able to help with.
I just saw a couple items in an antique store that I would appreciate
some information about.
The first is called a "Globalscope". It is a tabletop viewer, fine
woodworking, and includes both a 6" diameter magnifying lens and a pair
of optical quality glass stereo viewing lenses. The lenses can be
positioned vertically on foot tall standards. There is a positionable
easel on an inclined holder which can hold either stereopticon cards or,
presumably, other items to be viewed through the magnifying lens.
It is in beautiful condition, and quite pricey. But does anyone know
what it was actually intended for (the large magnifying lens)?
If anyone has a clue as to what it's value ought to be, I would
appreciate that info also.

The second item is a stereo camera called a "Gaumont." I did not see
the camera, but the dealer is trying to dig it out of his storage area
for me. He described it as early 20th century and quite heavy, but he
did not know what kind of film or plates it used. Any information you
may be able to pass along, again including possible value, would be
appreciated.
Thanks.
