George,

Hurrah! You answered the question I was asking, and that is, why can't 
slides that are excellent for projection also be excellent for viewing. 
You said they can, and I will forever strive for that excellence.

Still, I do know Allan's dilemma. He loves maximum color saturation, and 
he can get that by viewing his slides in a maximized Dr-T viewer. I 
wonder if any projection method (say with extra-bright light bulbs) could 
achieve the same result with the same color saturated slide.

Any comment on this?
