There is a book of stereo freeview (parallel only) photographs 
titled  'MAGIC 3D' by Tom Johnstone. Published 1995 in the UK.

I haven't seen it mentioned on this list, so perhaps it didn't 
make it to the US?  Anyway, it has about 50 stereo pairs of 
images from reproductions of old cards to modern sports and 
photomicrography views (by folks such as Burder and Macnally).
 The format and presentation suggest that it was aiming to take 
advantage of the popularity of magic-eye type images, but using 
the real image pairs that _we_ are used to.

I bought it last Christmas at the full price of 9pounds 99p ($15) 
and despite being notoriously skinflintish, still consider that 
good value - its a real photo-3d book.

The book now seems to have been remaindered, and is on sale at a 
ridiculously low price.  Let me know if you want one. If the demand 
is too big, I will fail (but you won't have lost anything). 
If I can cope, I'll send you one. It's hardback, so postage might 
cost a bit.  I'd like to swap for other bargain photo3D items 'cos 
that might be more fun and would avoid any currency changing 
problems/costs. Any ideas?
