Mine is a Japanese made Nimslo. Batteries: 386 Eveready of Duracell
silver oxide. Others Maxell SR 43W, Panasonic WL11, and Ray-O-Vac 
RW24/44.

If yours was made in the United Kingdom, you can have it 
converted to a Teco-Nimslo, which is great for closeup
slides. Look up Teco in the archives.
