It is not possible for the shutter to differ as they are common set of
blades in both lenses (so called Guillotine design). I would take the
slide and turn it upside down and check again in the viewer. If the same
side is dimmer then it is uneven light to the reflector or reflector is
not at same curve/angle or buld has darkened on one side? Dr. T may have
some thoughts. BobH 
The pair of f/stops are unique but have been calibrated and linked by
the belt connecting them and shouldn't change unless someone had it
apart and didn't get it back in sync.
