That proves, above all, that the eye, as we've discussed in
recent posts, is amazingly adaptable. An interesting experiment is to set
up a dual-Ektagraphic projection unit with *zoom* lens. Using a test
pattern (and without polarized glasses) set the images to coincide. Then,
*with* glasses, adjust one of the zoom lenses to change image size on one
side only. See how far your eyes will tolerate disparity of image size.

BTW, I've read that image size disparity is a more severe problem with
Pentax-type splitters than with double lens cameras. Is this due to
keystoning, or to some design limitation of the splitter system?
