RE: George Gioumousis notes the resemblence. I have not handled the
stereo but am familiar with the Edixa line...They are Wirgin Bros.
factory both products, so the common body parts may be the reason. One
of the Edixa SLR was motorized with a raft of batteries in the bottom,
but never achieved any popularity due to weight and expense of
batteries.
