This is called the "Kaiserpanorama", which was installed by August Fuhrmann.
We once had a huge article in split into two issues of 3D-Magazin.
The "Kaiserpanorama" usually had 25 seats, and showed a series of 50
views, which changed weekly. It was sort of the TV of our grandparents,
showing them distant countries. My grandfather, born in 1896, told me
about this device when I asked him about it. Unfortunately, he couldn't
remember that many details when I asked him about 4 years ago...
I doubt that any are left in Austria, but there are two or three here in
Germany, and one in Australia (Vic.). There's a club in Germany devoted
only to Kaiser-Panorama:
