I don't think we're necessarily talking "charity" here. It's just that a number
of people have been taking the position that it is somehow the duty of Tyco to
support an entire, costly line of "adult" V-M products in order to help satisfy
some vast and voracious market they see crying out for product. Others,
meanwhile, have been pointing out that almost without exception, all "adult" V-M
products that have been made available -- and there have been many -- have died
quiet, lonely deaths, unsupported by even the very people who keep insisting
that Tyco fund new products in a similar vein. They're not suggesting that
United Way set up support for 3D orphans, they're just saying, "Put your money
where your mouth is and the well-established and long-proven Capitalist rule of
Supply and Demand will supply."
