Loreo Praise

I have a Loreo camera and I have made the suggested alterations to reduce
flare. I don't have the little nose they started making for it. There
has been a lot of pro and con talk lately about this spiffy little 3D
point and shoot, so I thought I'd give it some praise. Recently, just
out of curiosity, I had Dale labs process a roll of film and return
prints and slides. I put the slides away, pending inventing a way to
show them.
I also recently purchased an old Stereo-Tach adaptor, it is a device that
uses mirrors to create two images on a single frame, if you thought of
all the light striking the thing as a beam, you could say that it was a
beam-splitter. The mirrors were detached and pretty well shot optically.
However, it came with a viewer that was still in good shape.
I put the viewer and the Loreo slides together last night and was
astonished at the crispness and clarity of the little Loreo's slides.
They are terrific! They are mostly flash shots (I use a slave flash)
taken of a wedding I performed inside the general store at Rabbit Hash,
Kentucky. It's like
being there. It was 200 asa Agfa XRG. I can hardly wait to find some
half frame mounts so I can project them.

By the way, the rest of the Stereo-tach is for sale, a beamsplitter with
reflex viewing, all the mounting stuff, and the instructions. I'll even
throw in enough front surface mirror material that someone who is crafty
with a glass cutter could renew the thing. All for $25 plus shipping.
