Stereo-Graphascope

I picked up a Stereo-Graphoscope (Patented April 23, 1889, Oct 15, 
1895) at Russel Norton's Photo show in Arlington last month.  However, 
the viewer doesn't have a handle to it.  I'd like to make a handle for it 
but unlike my other viewers this one screws in to the base of the viewer.  
Can anyone with a screwing base handle tell me whether the handle for 
their viewer is like the standard Homes-Bates viewer?
