Adorama often shows these in their ads. They are often called
macro focusing rails. Instead of the normal (2D) use you just mount
your camera at right angles to the way it moves. Then you can
make perfect horizontal movement without rotation or toeing
in or out.

On my first roll of SLR macro stereos (aka hypo stereo) I
used my big homemade slide bar. I had some problems with the
camera rotating relative to the vertical between shots (due to
play in the slidebar). Then I discovered that the image on
film from my SLR is not nearly as tall as from my Realist,
so there was much less room to rotate the film chips before
the black top or bottom edge showed up.

A friend has since loaned me his bellows focusing rail
(which is similar to above) and I used it for macro
stereos. The results were much better with no camera rotation.
If he ever wants it back I'll have to buy my own.
