"A refelection light meter gives perfect exposure IF the scene averages
18% gray! Never used for movies because they want overall illumination
fixed. Autoexposure not used as they don't want the tone to shift if a
white seagull flies into the scene. BobH
(I think I have shot 90% of my stereos by judgement or used the
calculator dial on a TDC Vivid. It is evaluating the offsets from Sunny
16 rule that is instructive.)
