Erlys, lets be practical now... Do you know how difficult it is to find
a model like that???  I don't want to go into details but we live away
from our families, don't have any friends, our neighbors won't talk to us
and my wife will not press the shutter or help me in any of my photo
projects even if my life depended on it!

Seriously, I thought about your suggestion... but decided to go with the
slide bar and no-human-interaction approach.  Once you put human elements
in a stereo picture it is very difficult to do a good job for a projected
slide.  This does not mean that you cannot have people in 3D projected
pictures... it only means that it requires more work than I was willing
or had time to put into it.  After all, it is only Detroit... ;) ;) ;)

The image that I was trying to create was very satisfying for me.  The
pictures were not snapshots but good quality B&W enlargements from a pro!
Mom looks young and sweet and brother and I charming, it is truly
nostalgic for me.  The pink carnation was nicely placed next to the
picture, a few albums adding to the decor and a black velvet blocking
the background.  The only mistake I made is that I shot it outside with
natural light which turned out to be too blue for this image (where is
a color temperature meter when you need one???).  I believe I can improve
the picture by making it warmer and perhaps a few minor changes.  But
I am not sure if it is worth it now...
