Rest is the same. Now, which method is simpler? Piper or Dr. T?
I'll let you draw your own conclusions!!!
I think old timers like Piper and BobH got a bit confused when the
leader got shorter which made loading much simpler... ;)

I have changed films in the middle of the roll many times. Even if you are
not consistent in loading, as in Dr. T's much simpler method, you can do it
but you might need to advance two times past the unloading frame to avoid
overlapping.
