Jon, even if it does not have the black logo, I can bet it has sharper
lenses than your other 23 or so red button viewers... I am using mine right
now and I love it!

Just gave 5 rolls from the RBT S1 for processing... This camera is one film
sucking baby! You can shoot one roll (15 exposures, more about this later)
in less than a minute thanks to motorized film advance and other
conveniences. I shot 4 rolls in one afternoon....

One thing I am learning is that there is such an aperture setting as
f5.6, f4, f2.8, and, get this, f2.0! With my Realist I don't dare use
anything wider than 8, but with the autofocusing and the alledged sharpness
of the Hexar lenses, I am confident that will get great results with 2.8.
Depth of field at 2.8? For portraits and when there is no background of
any interest, I don't care. Also, I find the 0.6 m minimum focusing
distance and smaller interocular very convenient as I enjoy close-up
photography and tight shots.

I keep my fingers crossed andwWill let you know what comes out in a few
days...

George

PS. Contributing to film usage (waste?) is forgetting to take off those
lens' caps, as my observant spouse has noticed in a couple of instances!
