Scope parts

Hi:

I started "restoring" 2 stereoscopes ... circa 1900 ...

I am looking for:

2 replacement handles ... I don t know what kind of wood it
should be ... looks like walnut.

I am considering using handles from old tools, like files ...
so, I am not too desperate here.

1 pair of guides for the sliding view support ...

if I can t find any, I ll probably end up going to the hardware store ...
so, I am not too desperate on that 1 too.
