Fascinating! 
This may account for SL3-D's more "natural" look?!?
In SL3-D, you see depth in a relative way, never as an absolute. But, 
neither will an image ever seem compressed, stretched or otherwise 
"unnatural". 
Even in the most exaggerated images, in which you'd expect a conflict 
with our soft wired view of the "real world", only seem to expand or hone 
that view.
I'd like to see a stereo pair made from a composit of dual and single lens 
3-D.
