Those last few drops are the sweetest! Forbidden fruit tastes best!

Strange how we will go to such lengths to squeeze a couple of extra
exposures out of a roll.

Film is the cheapest part of the package. (Like potato chips - do you
think the amount of chips in the 79 cent Big Grab snack bag costs twice
as much as the amount of chips in the 49 cent snack bag?)

Now, with electric cameras, you have no control over how much leader
gets "burned" when you load. Not new... I have a fancy japanese
made camera with hi-tech light meter/shutter speed/aperture read-out.
The thing don't activate itself 'till you burn the first few frames.

Someone's got to protect us from ourselves!

I once got 39 exposures out of a 20 exposure roll! Of course I
first had to think it was a 36 exposure roll. Then I found out
the 39 was the shutter count as the film was mis-loaded...sigh...

...but I did get a chance to get 20 MORE exposures from that same
roll! (Does that make it 59?)
