Interesting strategy.  :-)

I think we should support those who make the product we
prefer (actually purchased and used) rather than picking 
"other company" products to make Kodak "jealous".

The "demographics" that make companies choose what to make
are based upon what people buy, and if you buy inferior product
just to show-up Kodak, Kodak will figure you *want* that junk and
change over their Kodachrome line to make that junk you proved
that you wanted.

To purchase something is to vote *for* that product, not against
others.

I don't think buying Konica film en masse will make Kodak produce a
stereo camera or viewer.  It would just make them change
their films over to look like Konica's.
