I did borrow a viewer (a BUSCH or something like that.) that had interocular 
adjustment and focusing capabilities.  It made some of my throw away slides 
keepers!  I also got to see some full frame.  Do you have any viewers for
sale?

And yes, I really do wan't a wider format camera, and the Realist sounds
great!
I'm serious!!  
I was about to make an Argus C3-3D but realized (after collecting about 8
Argus 
C3s) that I don't have the equipment to start hacking.  I might try and get a
long twin 
cable and take Hyper stereo scenery shots,  Once I figure out which of my
cameras are best matched.

Another simpler project I have in mind is to make a stereo camera that uses
120 film, so I can make sharp focused Holmes cards.  Maybe I can strap
together two old kodak box cameras.
