    Don, I've heard it called 'fusing' and it means viewing the item in
stereo without a viewer of any kind...just your eyes.  I can do it on some
things. A local camera store has a few old stereo slides...approx. the same
size of modern 35mm stereo views, but on original glass plates!  They were
really neat...Lonnie
