Re: Pentax Splitter

In answer to the question about the PENTAX 'splitter'.  They work very 
well with the standard 50mm lens on an SLR.   However, they are 
relatively 'pricey' and there is a virtually identical item in the 
STEREOWORLD range at about a third of the price.

Incidentally,  we have found that the above equipment is almost totally 
compatible with the Loreo system.  This means that, apart from taking 
slides with the Pentax or StereoWorld adaptors,  you can also have 
prints made for viewing in the Loreo print viewer.   Or,  vice-versa,  
you can use slide material in the Loreo and look at the results in the 
Pentax or StereoWorld hand viewers.

You can also cut the latter transparencies in half,  mount them in GePe 
5x5 half-frame mounts AND PROJECT THE RESULTS in 3-D using two slide 
projectors!
