'Strue but medium format is the natural format because
its width is the width of human eye spacing. This means
you get as full a square frame as you can get and still
have the frames spaced like the human eyes and you don't
have to employ any mirror tricks. Wasn't it the Heidoscope
that preceded the Rollei? It used 120, right? I would
guess that that's part of the reason 120 got off to such a
good start.
Now Gabriel of course will soon give us an 80 mm fl stereo
camera using 35 mm film and having 57 mm image width because
he likes his stuff . . . . W I D E . . . .
