Yep.. I found this by accident when trying to copy it from one PC to
another. One of the config files states the "screenmode", (SVGA, VESA
etc), one of the options (6 or 7 I think ??) is Red/Blue Mode. It
also supports Crystal Eyes but (since I have Cybershaes) I haven't
got this to work (yet). The 3D isn't great but its intersting that
they were building it into the game...
Another game that had 3D support was Magic Carpet (by Bulldog I
think?). This had support for both anaglyph mode and SIRD mode!!
The anaglyph mode worked quite well from what I remember, but the
SIRD mode just didn't allow you to see enogh detail (you could see the
mountain ranges against the sky but not much else. (Magic Carpet is
now available as a budget release for stlg9.99)
"Descent" support VR headsets and shutter glasses (upgrading to version
1.5 gives far better 3D, by allowing you to adjust the eye
seperation).
Any body know of any more 3D games..
On a slighly related note.. does anyone know how to use the Chinon
Cybershades (via LCDBios) to view the 3D interlaced pictures that are
available... the only way I can see this working is with some form of
plug in for netscape that drive the glasses via the parallel port ??
