Games in 3D

Marcus, Bob Wier, and all,

The very first 3-D game I ever purchased was called "Beyond the Black
Hole." It is a DOS game using the Pulfrich Effect, copyrighted in 1989 by
The Software Toolworks. It came complete on a 720k 3-1/2" diskette, and
included a pair of neutral-density filter GrenoVision Goggles (copyright)
and one pair of red/blue 3-D Reading glasses. (Additional sets of glasses
could be ordered for $5.95 US funds, including shipping and handling.)

The game involves a mission you are on, which, if you solve the first
level, you get to the second level, and so on. Here are some random
instructions: "To fuel, maneuver your orb through the fueling pods which
have been opened to receive you. If you have less than 1000 points, but
more than 0, you need to hit the credit card sign to tell the attendant
you'll be paying with plastic."
