Paying for the mail!

I think Dennis Sherwoods comment about my posting items for barter, non 3-D
related etc., and costing mail time to others was a good point to raise, and
here is where I was coming from just to address Dennis and everyone else.

First of all, the end product here is that I got these 3-D items in to the
hands of others....and networking to get 3-D in to others hands only
perpetuates the hobby's strength. I live in an area where a lot of 3-D
equipment is available....and almost everything that I offered is now sold,
24 hours later, across the US....to many happy buyers.....thats is a good
thing.

Sure....a microphone or transistor radio is not related to 3-D, but the
result of my posting is that Bob Spicer from Australia, and Eric
Goldstien...member of my own local club....both responded and now we are
talking amongst ourselves about microphones....a nice connection...and we'll
chat about 3-D too.
Dalia, Harry Poster and myself trade war stories about radios...as we cross
in to that area of common interest....and Don Radovich says he is going to
plow through his garage for some stuff I might be interested in....so here is
the power of the new at work....and I am not really sure that it is a
liability to Phot 3-D or its readers.

I think out of respect to the list....if we have non-3-D related topics to
hook up on....we carry those conversations on directly ...and not through
Photo-3-D....John B would probably agree I imagine.

There might be a better server for those who pay per mailing or transmission,
but I am no expert on servers.....all I know is.....if I did a unit pay
service , I would get clobbered with a huge bill. On a given day, I give and
get about 30 email messages and Photo 3-D downloaded regularly. I pay only
9.95 per month to AOL...and I use flashmail....so I cannot figure why anyone
would pay per transmission.....

At any rate, I hope that answers the call. Thanks Jon Golden
