Although it doesn't really "bother" me, and in many instances I even like it,
having motion frozen can sometimes be a bit unsettling.
When I used my Pentax Beamsplitter for ten to fifteen years pre-realist and
showed the results, I'd describe it as "amazingly like you're there except
that it's a bit spooky because nobody is moving".
I think I'm just used to it now and that's the reason it doesn't bother me
or why I can even like it now. But that *is* how I described it for many
years!
Once the brain is trained to say "it's just a picture" (easier with 2D),
it becomes comfortable with the idea. ???????
