"New" Red Button

I finally received my "new" Red Button from Dr. T. Of course the workmanship
is superb! Thank you Dr. T.
I also have a Kodaslide II which has been T-ized. I spent yesterday evening
comparing the two. To be truthful, I can not discern any difference
optically between them. Perhaps if someone could point out some things to
look for, maybe I could tell. The only difference I could see was the
difference in illumination. I was using the Kodaslide with the AC bulb in it
and the Red Button of course had the frosted halogen bulb installed by Dr.
T. The halolgen bulb was definitly much whiter than the 75 VAC bulb in the
Kodaslide. The 75 VAC bulb is warmer in tone. I assume that if I were to
install the batteries and halogen lamp in the Kodaslide, it would give me a
virtually identical view colorwise as the Red Button.
I like both viewers. I wanted a second to carry around with me so I can bore
my friends. The Red Button is more portable. The AC operation and the
adjustability of the Kodaslide is a definite plus.
