Just what is the larger format?  I have the cheapie Rittai and it has an 
almost identical film aperture size as the Nimslo, even .015" smaller in 
the width.  Is the more expensive camera a different size?

I buy and use Nimslo's because I can buy them for $30 U.S. and they give 
great results.  Maybe you were referring to not buying the Nishika?
