Thanks for the explanation and I agree with everything your saying. When
I made the original statement that there is more film photography than
computer stuff, it wasn't because I was puzzled but more to counter the
suggestion that computer 3d dominated P3D. And even if this was the case,
P3D's charter is not exlusively film 3d. That was the intention of my post.
But in any case your replies brought up other interesting aspects as where
are all the other senior more experienced 3d film photographers.
>Our loss, certainly! Their loss, I am not sure. People like Paul Wing,

Sure they can learn alot from us. We could teach them to use computers so
that they can teach us more about 3d!;-)
Seriously thou, I find in general most film photographers are quite
receptive to computers and digital photography (except here in P3D;;;;-))
even more senior ones. You might not find numbers wise as many, and one of
the reasons is because they didn't grow up with it and is not because they
don't want to use them. I know your not saying that, I just want to make
clear I don't think that. Believe it or not I met a person on the weekend
at the Montreal Photograhic Flea Market held in Montreal on Sunday that was
selling all his photograhic stuff. He mentioned he wasn't a dealer but just
getting rid of his film based stuff because he found it more conveniant to
use a computer to do photography. He was an older gentlemen BTW.
No 3d stuff thou.:-( But I did pick up a nice 8mm film editor for 4 bucks
that works fine and has a bunch of front surface mirrors in it.

Hey what happened to your diet!?. As I am composing this thing, I am getting
alot of posts from you to P3D this evening. Boy you sure are having a big
P3Dinner! That's what happens when you skip on lunch. ;;-)
