My response:

Mike, I might be the other loco, ahem! I mean local that has one. I reported to
someone else on this list that I had a light leak in my Kindar. Im still
working on
that but I now think I have it fixed. After reading the article in Dalia's
publication, I figured maybe its not a good idea to use that camera on a
daily basis, so I put the camera in my display shelf. Other than the light
leak and an out of adjustment range finder, it works great. The images are
sharp and the shutter speeds appear to be fairly accurate. I don't really
mind about the range finder's viewer being off. I just set the rangefinder
according to the dial reading and the results, (especially shooting in the
F16 area) come out just fine. It certainly is an easy
camera to use.

My Kindar also has the little cap on the bottom of this camera with two
little holes in it, just like some of the Realists mentioned earlier. It is
near the tri-pod socket. I'm wondering if this is an adjustment to the range
finder. If anyone
knows, I would be interested in knowing before putting a wrench to it.

Les.
