Re: NTSC TV standard
NTSC was the first, the later French SECAM and German (not British)
PAL systems, were developed to overcome colour changes due to phase
distortion introduced in transmission and reception.
In all 3 systems the colour information is only about a quarter of
the
definition of the main picture, and is transmitted on a subcarrier
the
amplitude of which gives the SATURATION of the colour, and the phase
(compared to the reference phase), gives the HUE.
With the poor definition and colour changes it is not surprising that
anaglyph Video's do not work very well.
SECAM ((StricklE Contrary to the AMerican system), the French would
never
use anything American), is also used in the Middle East.
Are their any 3d Video's available for the PAL system in the UK?
